This privacy policy explains what Where Dubai collects to run the local discovery site: analytics after cookie acceptance, email signup details, outbound venue link events, basic technical context, and contact information for privacy questions.
Where Dubai is a local discovery website. We aim to collect only the information needed to operate, improve, and protect the site.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and external analytics services such as Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, outbound clicks, popular guides, and how visitors move through the site. These services may process technical information such as device type, browser, approximate location, referring page, interaction events, IP-derived location, and cookie or device identifiers.
Analytics scripts are loaded after a visitor accepts the cookie notice. The acceptance choice is stored locally in the browser so the notice does not need to appear on every visit.
Email Updates
If you sign up for Where Dubai emails, we store your email address and basic technical context such as the page you signed up from, IP address, browser user agent, and signup time. We use this to keep the list accurate, prevent abuse, and send Dubai guides, local data, and discovery notes. A full mailing provider integration and unsubscribe handling will be added before regular email campaigns begin.
Outbound Links
Venue websites, booking pages, maps, and social profiles are third-party services. Their privacy practices are controlled by those services, not Where Dubai.
